Plot: The Rocker chronicles the story of a drummer named Robert “Fish” Fishman. In the 80′s he was kicked out of his band Vesuvius that eventually went on to be rock legends. He never let that go. Now twenty years later he is asked to play for his nephew’s band at the prom due to their drummer getting suspended. The band blows up bigger than expected and they become national celebrities (Thanks to an embarrassing video of Fish). Eventually they land a tour, and now all that is in front of them is their career’s, the open road,…and trouble.
Plot: The Rocker is a fairly funny movie that had some memorable parts. Fish got a bit creepy at times and particularly scarring in that video mentioned, and that sometimes downplays some of the comedy. But for the most part it’s an enjoyable comedy.
